The promise of the baptism of the Spirit is fulfilled at Pentecost, one of the seven feasts given to the Hebrews. The believer's ability to walk in the power of God is further examined, and we look at the difference between baptism of the Spirit and being filled with the Spirit. The tongues used in Acts 2 are explained, and we find as the text ends, that God's power is always met with resistance from the enemy.

Lifting up our eyes gives us a spiritual focus. Looking on the fields gives us the right spiritual focus. Your personal sanctification and maturation will come as a natural result of a right focus on missions. Enlist in something bigger than yourself and labor for the Lord.
